Merzci opens JM Basa branch in Iloilo City

CM & Sons Food Products, Inc. opens another branch in Iloilo City, as demand for Merzci products continue to grow. The JM Basa branch benchmarks a further milestone for the company being its 47th branch and its 5th branch in the city.


Merzci, a family business that started 1995, is the market brand of CM & Sons Food Products, Inc. It begins as a small bakery supplying bread to a single store in Liberated Market in Bacolod City, and soon evolved to produce pasalubong products, water and fast food, serving delicious and affordable food for Bacoleños and Negrosanons.



For two decades, Merzci products became available in the different branches and dealers in Negros Island and Iloilo and even reaching as a far as Tuguegarao City in the north, Zamboanga City, Manila, Cebu and Panay. Some products are also exported by distributers to Canada, the USA and other parts of the world.



Although Merzci undergone a rebranding process from Merci to Merzci last October 2014, the company still believes that it will remain competitive in the food market. The new and improved Merzci consistently remains as the most preferred pasalubong and continuously produces high quality products, which are available in more than 40 outlets.

The newest branch makes wave for the company as it brings delicious and affordable short order meals. Delightful pasalubong goodies such as the hot piaya and hot pandesal are expected to be big hits among Ilonggos.

The JM Basa branch is officially plugged-in to Merzci chain of stores, transmitting strong frequency for the company in fulfilling its corporate vision to be the most preferred bakeshop fast food and pasalubong branding the Negros Island Region and Panay Island.
